Your Journey

What major changes did you make to your food, exercise and thinking?

Food: I now choose whole foods as much as possible, I try not to have too much processed foods, but, lots of vegetables, salads and fruit and lean meats & I love them.

Exercise: I have become an absolute Gym Junkie..... I excercise 6 days a week for 40 - 60 mins per day and as well as that I have 2 personal training (Weight) sessions a week each for 30 mins.

Thinking: I do think totally differently now to what I did before - I know exactly what I need to do - I make time for myself and I also get extra support if & when I need it - We all have a bad day - it's great to be able to talk to someone about things - At work I have a fellow Weight Watcher and we keep each other inspired.

Your Achievements and Rewards

What goals did you set yourself and how did you achieve them? What rewards and incentives did you give yourself?

My goals were short term goals, I didnt think too far ahead - I was just focused on a week at a time. I had manicures , pedicures, bought new clothes - anything to acknowledge my efforts and success. The Ultimate goal weight reqrds was my Rose Gold Bangle - I bourght it months before I got to my goal weight - but did not put it on until the day I got there - now everyday I look at it, it reminds me of my effort & struggle.

What is the most important thing or experience your new lifestyle has given you?

It has given me my health back I no longer get short of breath when climbing stairs - often now at work I need to park on level 7 & when I go back to the car I can walk form level 3 up to 7 without a problem - and it's the best feeling to be fit & healthy, now that I know just how good it feels - Im not going backwards again.

Your advice to others?

My advice would be to join - follow the program, I'm not saying that it's easy some weeks are easy some aren't, but if you follow the program , loss your weight - you will find that you will have a new respect for yourself and others will also, and you will feel Fantastic.

A humorous moment during your weight loss

I don't really have any one humerous moment - I have a few now since I have a Personal Trainer that is as mad as anyone I know - she makes me laugh - even through the tough stuff.
